Christmas is coming!

Okay, so now that Halloween is over, Tracy has decided it's time for our Christmas tree to go up. Believe me, I was lucky to get him to put it off this long. He's been trying to persuade me for weeks! Tonight was the night I gave in, and up went the tree. We bought ornaments (black, gold, and teal) yesterday, because I knew it was coming. Here are some pictures of the results of our first Christmas tree.

Happy Halloween!

Well, we decided to carve some pumpkins for Halloween. We did it Wednesday night, starting at 8 (we thought we would have plenty of time before bed...) Come to find out, it's not as easy as we thought it would be! Two hours later, we finally finished carving them. Tracy did a scary skull head, and I decided on the vampire (I must admit, my fondness for Edward is what made me choose it...if you don't know what I'm talking about, shame on you :) ). They turned out great, but what a job it was to get them there!

Tracy's is the skull on the left, mine is the vampire on the right.

Is it winter already?

So, Tracy is strangely obsessed with warm coats...as in coats you would need if you were lost in the wilderness, and it were negative 50 degrees outside. Anyway, he ordered this coat from work, and recieved it last week. It's very puffy, and a little large for me! We decided we needed to snap some pictures of it, and here they are, for your viewing pleasure.

Park City

Well, we're back from our little vacation to Park City. It was so fun, and very relaxing! We did lots of things...including getting most of our Christmas shopping done!
We also went to the Olympic park, from the 2002 Winter Olympics. Neither of us had ever been there before, and it was quite fun!

A couple of olympic buffalo?

We're awesome skiiers!

Olympic medals...pretty cool!

Yay for vacations!

Well, it's UEA (which is actually called Fall Break these days...) I am very excited, because my Tracy and I are heading to Park City today for a long weekend. Granted, I should probably go to some of the UEA conference in Salt Lake...my bad! But we are certainly going to enjoy our time off together. Maybe I'll post some pictures, if we get any good ones!

He's a geezer!

Well, today was Tracy's birthday. He turned 30! I always give him a hard time about being so "old", hence the title! He got pretty spoiled by my family today. But that's okay, I think he needs it. He's a great guy, and deserves to be spoiled once in a while (no doubt he agrees!).
