Happy Anniversary...again!

Well, it's been a year! Yep, a year of marriage for Tracy and me. It is hard to believe that it has already been a full year, the time sure flew by fast. Our anniversary was actually on Saturday, but we were so busy I had no time to write about it.

We started by shopping for a new washer and drier. We ended up buying a set of red ones, which Tracy has wanted for as long as I've known him.

Afterward, we went to Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. It was a pretty good movie. Tracy really liked it, but he's not a Potter reader. I am, and so it fell a bit flat, but movies typically do when compared to their literature counterparts. Would I recommend it? Absolutely! Go see it, it will be worth it.

For dinner we went to Olive Garden. I filled up on salad, so I could hardly eat my lasagne. But what a tasty dinner.

Everybody's mommy!

For the last couple of weeks, I've been a mommy. Okay, not really, but I've been the "mommy" component in mommy and me swimming lessons. Of course, I have no children, but I have been going with my nephews. My first nephew, Cameron, was taken by his dad some days, and by me on other days (when his dad had to work.) His mom has recently had a baby, so the two of them came and watched. Today was the first day with my other nephew, Corbin. I will only be going with him today and tomorrow, the days his mom works.
Anyway, swimming lessons are not as easy as they sound. I swear, I thought they would be a piece of cake. Have you ever tried to teach a toddler how to blow bubbles in the water? It seemed so simple, yet was so hard! My one nephew yelled alot when I tried to get him to do them, while the other just drank the pool water (ew!) They both love climbing out of the pool and jumping back in, which was one of the skills they were supposed to be working on. So we spent alot of time on that! Needless to say, my nephews probably did not learn much while I was their "mommy," but there's always next year!
