He's a geezer!

Well, today was Tracy's birthday. He turned 30! I always give him a hard time about being so "old", hence the title! He got pretty spoiled by my family today. But that's okay, I think he needs it. He's a great guy, and deserves to be spoiled once in a while (no doubt he agrees!).

School Rocks!

I have now been in school for several weeks. And it's going so well! I really like my class, they are great kids. They are sixth graders, so of course they like to chat. And chattiness is one thing I struggle with. So they are teaching me to loosen up a bit. But thing are going great, and I'm hoping it continues this way!

Wow, I have a job again!

Well today was my first official day of work! Yay, it was all sorts of exciting...actually, it wasn't. It consisted of sitting through a meeting all day. But it was the kick off of school for me! My classroom is almost done, which is a huge surprise to me. I could post pictures of it...not that I'm sure people would care...oh well, maybe I'll do it anyway!
In addition to me having a job again, Tracy got a promotion at work. Which is just great for him! I think he's pretty pleased about it too. I know he deserves it, because he sure works hard!

Driving me crazy!

So, Tracy and I have been getting our house unpacked and liveable. Wow, it's so tough to get it all ready to go! We still have piles of stuff sitting everywhere. In addition to trying to get our house ready, I've been getting things together to start my first year of teaching. Talk about lots of important stuff put together at one time. All I hope is that I get everything taken care of on time!

We did it! (got married that is)

Well, Tracy and I finally got married! We got married on July 18th, and it was a fun, crazy day. It happened in the Jordan River Temple, then had a reception that night! And another one the next night. Talk about exhausting! But after that, we went on our honeymoon to Las Vegas. We had alot of fun, going to different shows and such. It was quite nice to get away together, and neither of us are ready to start back into real life. We have no choice though, so I guess we'll make the best of it. I'll try to post some fun pics from the honeymoon. We'll see what happens, I've never done anything like this before.
